You will drive on motorway M 1. Later M 1 and M 7 are joining.
Drive on the third lane counted from the middle
of the road after the Budapest sign and Hotel Wien. This lane takes you
over an overpass passing by the Hotel Bara over the Elisabeth-bridge
Erzsébet hid. Arriving on the Pest side of the Erzsébet
hid, drive straight ahead on Kossuth utca . You will drive by the Hotel
Astoria, East-West Business Centre (glass office building). The street
is called now Rákóczi út. The first lane on the
right hand side is Puskin, green post office on the corner after
a large Pepsi sign
on the
second one is at the
supermarket SPAR : Szentkirályi utca. The third building is the
house number 5.
You find our company's flag with logo at the front of the building.
Be sure to ring the bell at the front door of the house
from the street side " City Centre Apartments office " right column at
the bottom 2-3 seconds. Please wait 2-3 minutes before entering
the house. If our assistant is at the
moment
not in the office, he/she has a pager and will answer you in a
minute.Will he/she not answer in 2 minutes,she might be busy in the
oother
apartments nearby.

driving on motorway M 5 , national road 4 or 5
If your address is near metro 2 station Astoria: VIII.
Szentkirályi utca 5.or nearby.
Please take into consideration that planning the arrival time for a
journey by car is pretty uncertain. It depends on the waiting times at
the borders, on the weather and road circumstances, on the road
traffic,on your physical condition,on the state of mind and lots
of other unforeseen events.It is much easier to look for an address in
an unknown city in daylight than at darkness when the streets are even
empty and you cannot ask anybody to help you. That is why we politely
ask you to start your journey much earlier than you think it would be
necessary.
From Romania (Arad)
We advise you to drive on motorway M 5 from
Szeged.
You pay a toll for all Hungarian
motor ways for a
car.
M 1, M 3, M5
and M 7 for 4 days : 1170 Forint, but between
01.06.and 30.09.2008.: 1530 Ft, for 7 days
2550 Ft.
For bus /coach/ 2760 Ft per a day 6600 Ft for 7 days
(1.1.2008.-31.12.2008.)
But then you will
come easy and comfortable to the centre of
Budapest. If you do not want to pay this amount we recommend you to
join to the motorway M 5 at the last junction at Ócsa. Pls.
follow the sign centrum. You will get to Üllõi
út.Keep on driving on the main road over the overpass by the
football stadion of Ferencváros ( FTC) green-white to the begin
of Ûllõi út, Kálvin tér (square). In
front of you will be the Hotel Mercure Korona , turn there
to the right drive on Múzeum kõrút passing by the
collonade of the
National Museum on the right hand to East West Business Center / Burger
King on the ground floor/, huge glass office building on right hand.
Opposite is the Hotel Astoria. Turn there to the
right, drive on Rákóczi ut 200 m passing by IC Bank,
Volksbank, Citibank etc. First lane Puskin with
a post office on the right corner, and
the second street is called Szentkirályi on the right hand after
a large Pepsi
sign.Supermarket ABC SPAR is on the corner. You find a company flag
with our logo at the font of the building.
Ring
the bell at house number 5. " City Centre Apartments office " 2-3
seconds the right column at the bottom
and wait for us outside of the house for 2-3 minutes.
Comming on national road 4 is the same because you will get to the very
long main road Üllõi út.
Arriving on national road 5 not on motorway: M5 :
If you have missed the junction to M 5 pls. drive to the centre on the
broad Soroksári út.
Attention !
During the construction works of metro 4 please use the following route:
On Soroksári út you will drive over an overpass (
fly-over) then under a bridge.On the right stands the warehouse OBI.
Right after that bridge turn to the right at
Vágóhid utca .
Drive on it to the first crossing with a tram line on it (Mester utca).
Turn to the right, drive on Mester utca to its start to József
kőrút. Turn to the right.Drive ahead. At the third lane after
the crossing with the traffic lamp(Baross utca) turn to the
right - it is actually a square (Rákóczi
tér) , turn then to the left at the right hand will be the
Market Hall on Rákóczi tér and at the second
possibilityurn to the left .This is Bérkocsis utca. Drive
over the Grand Boulevard ( József kőrút) and turn at the
first small street to the left and after 30 m at Guttenberg
tér to the right. This is Bródy Sándor
utca. The second small lane is Szentkirályi utca, but one
way street !! After you will pass the watched parking site house number
18. and at the third small lane turn to the right. Actually you
will have only this choice there.
This is Puskin utca. Its start is a traffic light.Turn to the right and
150 m later at SPAR supermarket again to the right. You are in
Szentkirályi utca.
The third house from the corner is the number 5.
Watch the company flag on the front of the building.
Otherwise would be the following route easier:
Drive under the Petőfi bridge the
street is called now Közraktár út, because on the
left side are
brick building. Where the main road turns a bit to the left keep on driving straigt ahead. You
will see the Central Market Hall's red brick building with a car
park on the right.
Turn to the right in Czuczor utca, then next corner to the left/Lonyay
utca /.At the main road/traffic light/ turn to the right.
You are at Kalvin ter/square now. Left Hotel Corona Meruce with a
hanging corridor between the two blocks of the hotel building,
right a huge glass office building .
Drive straight ahead, passing by the colonnade of the National Museum
on the right. At the huge glass office building /East West Business
Center,on ground floor Burger King/ opposite side Hotel Astoria/ turn
to the right. Then
follow the directions like above.
Arriving from the North /Slovakia/ via /šahy/
Parassapuszta
Please drive on M 2 -toll free- all the way to Budapest.
When you arrive the border of Budapest - two parallel lanes like
on a motor way-
look for the sign Centrum -Ujpest. This will be a turn to the right,
pls. drive in the righ lane.
You will arrive to a very /8 km/ long main road called Váci
út.
It will lead you first through the IV. district then XIII. district.
You keep on driving straight ahead , over two overpasses- fly-overs.
After the first one short before the second ones you 'll pass by
the Westend City Center with Hotel Hilton on the left side, then the
train station Nyugati pu. also left side down by the fly-over.
Under the overpass will be the tram line 4 & 6.
You 'll get to Bajczy Zsilinszky ut . 400 m further you pass by the
basilica of St. Stephen /right side/, then also right side
the square /Erzsebet ter.
The main road turns a bit to the left after at the second traffic
light -250 m- at the Synagogue , please turn to the left.
This is the street Dohány utca with a trolly bus line #
74. The
Great Synagogue you will pass by left hand. 150 m further turn to te
righ /Sip utca/.At the traffic light you can turn to the left up
to Rákóczi út. Drive to the right most lane/ for
buses/ and 150 m further turn to the right after the Slovakian
Cultural Institute /Szlovák Kulturális Intézet/
and
a large PEPSI sign.

the right side is our hotel with our company's flag.See our logo
If you get lost in the centre, please find out the district number in
Roman figures ( like IX.) and crossing /both names
of the street.Then call us.

Arriving on motorway M 3 from North-East Hungary
(Slovakia (Kosice) Ukraine, Romania : Satu Mare, Oradea)
From the Ukraine and Romania :Satu Mare take M 3
from
Nyiregyhaza-Nagykallo.
From Oradea take first M 35 from Debrecen, then M 3 to
Budapest.
Arriving at Budapest sign follow sign "Centrum".
After an overpass ( fly over) over railway keep on driving
in the right lane.
Passing by a filling station ARAL right hand you get to another
overpass. Keep here in the right most lane and go across the City
Park.
At Hero' s square right hand Museum of Fine Arts, turn to the left,
then immediately to the right. Practically you just drive half around
the statues.
Drive on Andrassy ut to its begin, after Opera turn at the big
crossing to the left.
At the fourth traffic light / only about 200 m / there will be a
bend to the right/ turn left at the Synagogue in Dohany utca.
There at the first possibility - 150 m - turn right ( Sip utca).
Here you are allowed to turn to left on the main road Rakoczi ut.
Immediately go to the right most lane and 30 m further turn to the
right after Slovakian Cultural Centre Rakoczi
ut nr. 13. into Szentkiralyi utca. Supermarket SPAR
is at the corner.
In summer time on Saturdays and Sundays from
July to
September you are not allowed to drive through City Park
(Varosliget) .
Then please use the second right lane on the overpass in direction M 4
and M 5 to the second traffic light. Turn to the right Ajtosi
Dürer fasor. Right hand you will pass by the City Park. At begin
of Dürer street turn to the right, at first traffic light to the
left.
Keep on driving on Dembinszki ut, further it is called Wesselenyi ut
streight ahead.
Drive to its start, then left around the Synagogue. This will be
Dohany utca.
There at the first possibility - 150 m - turn right ( Sip utca).
Here you are allowed to turn to left on the main road Rakoczi ut.
Immediately go to the right most lane and 30 m further turn to the
right after Slovakian Cultural Centre Rakoczi ut nr. 13. into
Szentkirályi utca.
From the Airport to the Apartments
Please note there are 3 airports :Ferihegy 1/old airport for low
cost airlines, Ferihegy 2/A and 2/B. Before you call us, make sure
at which airport are you.
If you arrive by air plane , and you want us to order a taxi for you,
pls. call us from the airport at 3171456, phone/answering
machine:416 2432 or the mobile number 06-30-251 6121 or 06-30-2429 427.
There are three possibilities to get to the centre:
taxi, public transportation, airport minibus.
How do we order a taxi ?
After you have passed the customs pls.find out at which airport are you
now Ferihegy 1 or 2/A{only for MALEV passengers}, or 2/B
at arrival or departure.
Call us , tell us your name and where you are.
Write City Centre
Apartments on a sheet of paper, go to exit of the building and wait for
the driver. If you arrive at Ferihegy 2/a or 2/b, please look for
a sign with blue script "
rendelt
taxi " 50-100 m left from the exit. See photo in the right
column.
Some places have the yellow board with the Hungarian and English text "
Pre-booked taxi drop-in-point" He will have also our company's name in
his hand and
know your name and the address where you will go.
6x6 Volan taxi costs from Ferihegy 1: 4600 HUF and from 2/a, 2/b 4600
HUF
at the moment / February, 2009./.
At Ferihegy 1 please go right from the exit 120 m to the
yellow board with the Hungarian and English text " Pre-booked taxi
drop-in-point".
On the way back 4600 HUF, same price for all three terminals. He comes
in 8-12 min. after your call. In case you have not met the
driver in 16 min. pls. call us again.We reorder a cab.
An assistant of our company will wait for you in the office, then.
The new taxi company Zona Taxi has a desk in the terminal, where you
can order a taxi to us for 4800 HUF.
They drive you for even lower fare (4000 HUF) back .
This is a new possibility, but you might have to wait for the
taxi
about 10 min.
I still recommend you 6x6 Volan Taxi,
because we have had good
experience with it in the last 7 years.
The second reason is : they have
the same reasonable price from the centre to the airport as well.
By public transportation Bus # 200
runs from 5. a.m. to 0.15 a.m. from Feihegy 2/b passing by 2/a and
Ferihegy # 1. to Kőbánya-Kispest
MÁV Állomás VÁ. /
Metro 3 / in every
15-20 min. The fare is 300 / 400/ Ft per person.
You can buy a ticket from the bus driver 400 Ft/price
stand in 2009./It is about 25
min. drive from 2/b to Kobanya from Ferihegy 1 only 12 min..
After you change for Metro 3 to Deak ter.
If you will stay at Szentkiralyi utca 5./30 rooms/ you
can walk there
in 12 minutes. You start the same way as to Dohany utca. After the # 20
turn to the right , cross
the main road Rakoczi ut , turn to the left
pass by Rakoczi pekseg/with a PEPSI sign/ at SPAR supermarket turn to
the right. The third house from the corner. Ring the bell at the front
door of the house # 5. (City Centre Apartments office} 3-4 seconds and
wait 2-3 min. in front of the house for us.
It is easier to change at Deak ter for the metro
2 /red line/ one stop / to Astoria in direction
Örs vezér tere.
Leave the metro to the left, walk upstairs to the East-West Business
Center, pass by the glas office building right hand, walking by
the bank Estre Bank, Hanhwa Bank etc. on Rakoczi ut. On the left side
of the main road is the first corner with a green post office
Puskin utca and the second corner with SPAR Supermarket is our street
Szentkiralyi utca. Turn to the right, the third house is
the
number 5. Look for our company's flag on the facade.
If you will stay at Dohany utca you can walk there in 7 min.
passing by the crossing of the 3 metro lines, the Calvinist Church .At
the church turn to the right, walk on Karoly korut to the Synagogue on
the left . Cross the main road to the Synagogue in Dohany utca.
At the
next corner on the left is # 20.You can use the cod to open the front
door: 19 , key symbol , 7459.
Please note we can meet you only in special case in the apartment.So
you are requested to go to
our office,which is 3 min.walk to pay the rent, deposit and receive the
keys.

VIII.ker. , a crossing /name of
both of the streets/ and call
us. We endeavour giving you a description of the way how get to
to
us.
New and cheap possibility :
From Ferihegy 1 terminal you can take the train coming
from Szolnok-Cegléd and leaving for Nyugati
pu..

One way ticket costs 300 Forint and available at Tourinform office at
Ferihegy 1 terminal.
But you can use the BKV passes , too.
Ferihegy train stop is linked with a pedestrian overpass ( fly-over)
with a lift at both ends of it.
The train ride takes – depending on the type of the train –
only 22-25 min.
Airport minibus / we do not
recommend this way to our guests /
The price is 2990 Ft for one person and 4490 HUF for 2persons
/1.February 2009./ The minibus collects
passengers, so you have
to wait for. It takes about 50-70 minutes to get to the apartment.
We can
order a taxi of the company 6x6 Volan taxi for 4600 Ft per a cab from
Ferihegy 2/a, 2/b, but 4600 from Ferihegy 1 /02.
Feb. 2008./. valid, which
is max. for 4 persons.
The advantage of the taxi is it takes you in
25-35 min. to the address.
Please note !
To arrange the drive back to the airport from the hotel is
extremely difficult.
The only phone line of Airport Minibus Co. is always engaged. So you
will loose your return ticket, because you cannot confirm it by the
phone. We cannot arrange it for you, because of lack of employees
and
time. Please consider this circumstance !!

at Keleti pu. international train station
If you have five minutes, do not miss to admire the Lotz-Hall

Take metro 2 from
Keleti pu. downstairs from the platform # 7 or 8. and
straight ahead through the walk under to the metro entrance.
Two stops by metro 2 to Astoria. Buy a section ticket for the metro.

bus 7, 7/A or 78.
The bus stop you can find
through the walk under towards the metro, but at the second possibility
turn to the right at the end to the left. First buy tickets at the
metro entrance.Take the bus to Kazinczy utca : 3 stops. Walk back 50 m.
Cross the main road at the pedestrian (zebra) crossing).
Turn to the
right walk on Rákóczi út to the supermarket SPAR
(house number 19). This is our small street. Turn left in.
If you want to walk from Keleti rail way station, it takes for
me 18 min. walk on the main road Rákóczi.
Walk from the station downstairs straight ahead passing by the metro
entrance left hand.
At the end turn to the left then to the right. You
will be opposite the Hotel Hungaria.
Walk to house number 19. See
further up.
How to get from Déli /pu./ pályaudvar
to VIII.
Szentkiralyi utca pu is the abbreviation for train station . .At the
train station keep to the left, walk downstairs turn to the right You
can take the M 2 metro number 2 red line to Astoria /5 stops/.
Come out
of the metro turn to the left, walk in opposite direction
of the Hotel Astoria and the Danube river on Rakoczi ut passing by the
glass office building East-West Business Center, which will be at your
right hand side.There banks (IC Bank, Hanhwa Bank etc.)
Then you ‘ll
pass by Volksbank and the green post office at the corner of
Puskin
utca .
Please take the opportunity to change money in one of the banks.
Keep on walking
on the main road Rakoczi passing by Erste Bank,Hanhwa bank, Citibank at
supermarket SPAR turn
in Szentkiralyi utca
to
the right. The third house form the main road is the number 5.

How to get from Nyugati pu. train station to VIII.Szentkiralyi
utca 5. When you need to change money, the best rate you get in the
K&H bank beside the platform # 11.Open from 8-9 to 18 hours,
Saturday to 12, Sunday closed. Exchange office with a good rate is not
in the building , but straight ahead along the platform # 11or #13 out
of the
building, then turn to the right walk by the McDonald’s , watched
parking
site and still before the post office. It is open from 8 to 18-20
hours,
but also open on Sunday. The closest ATM is at the exit of the rail way
station at platform # 11.
The tram stops are in front of the train
station
on the Grand Boulevard. You can take the tram 4 or 6 from Nyugati
ter(square)
4 stops to Blaha Lujza ter in direction Boraros ter opposite direction
from the fly-over/overpass/.
From Blaha Lujza
tere you can walk on the main road Rakoczi ut (in direction to the
Elisabeth-bridge ). Behind you is the Hotel Nemzeti, McDonald’s left in
front of you the
departments store Corvin with a parking lot/car park/, right in front
of you on the other side of
Rakoczi
ut is Burger King. You will walk on the left site of the main road
Rakoczi
by the hospital Rokus, yellow chapel St.Rochus and the cinema Urania.
At the second lane after the chapel on the left side of the main road
is Szentkiralyi with the supermarket SPAR on the corner . Turn in to
the
right. It is the third house from Rakoczi ut.
Ring the bell at house
number
5. City Centre Apartments “office” for 2-3 seconds and wait for us 2 –3
min. in front of the building. If our assistant is busy with other
guests in another apartment , he/she has pager, which beeps after 1
min.
He/she answers you where to meet : for example ground floor across the
court yard in
the left corner(office) , or downstairs in the staircase .
Please do
not
enter the house before contacting us, because we have 27 rooms in 4
different
levels. It could be difficult finding us there. If you get lost in the
city, find out the district number (Roman numeral for example IX:) the
name of a crossing : both street names and don’t
hesitate

Taxis from the train stations
There are lots of taxi drivers hanging around the train (train station).
I suggest you to agree with one in the price before sitting in.
It is
usually better for you then just paying according to the meter.
Remember : the price for you can never be low enough.
Let us know, if you
arrive at another train station /Kelenfoldi pu. etc./.
We will
send you directions and maps how to get to the apartment.
Arrival by boat -at the
international landing place : Belgrad rakpart
We endeavour to meet our guests upon arrival holding the name of our
company: CCA (City Centre Apartments). Unfortunately the boats are
often late, and our assistants may be busy welcoming other tourists.
So, in case you won't see anybody of us (holding our company ‘s name
and logo), please take a taxi to the address your reservation was made
for.
If you have a reservation at the block near the metro 2 Astoria station
take a taxi to VIII.Szentkiralyi utca 5.
If you prefer to reach us by bus, please walk to the Elisabeth
bridge/white suspension bridge, and take the bus 7 , 7/A or 78 from
Ferenciek tere 2 stops to Vas utca. Walk back 'till the supermarket
SPAR and then turn into Szentkiralyi utca. At house number 5 ring the
bell City Centre Apartments “office” for 2-3 seconds. Please, wait
outside until we welcome you at the door: we have about 27 rooms at
four different levels and three in the opposite building.
So it is quite likely we won’t be in the office. But
we have a pager, which beeps one minute after you have rang the bell.
Arrival by bus at Nepliget Our
office is at VIII. district , Szentkiralyi utca house number 5. in the
court yard left. We are available there from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m at our
office in Szentkiralyi utca 5. But at
arrival after 4-5 p.m. it is advisable to call us 10-15 minutes before
checking in.
If you arrive by coach (bus) before 8 a.m or after 8 p.m.
it is advisable calling us from the bus station. Then somebody of us
will meet you in the apartment or in the nearby office. maybe at the
bus station. Pls remember we need a certain time to get to an address
(5-20 min.). We get in the same time to the apartment or office as you
from
the bus station. If you arrive during the day, you can straight go to
our office.
There are two bus stations.
From the West coaches arrive
at the new international bus station at Nepliget . This is a metro
station
of metro 3 blue line “M 3 “ at
the crossing point of Konyves Kalman
korut and Ulloi ut. Take metro 3 blue line M 3 in direction of Ujpest.
If
your reservation is near the metro 2 stop Astoria just 5 stop to
Ferenciek tere. Leave the exit to the left, walk on Kossuth Lajos utca
. I the opposite direction of the big white suspension bridge Erzsebet
–hid ( Elisabeth bridge). You ‘ll get to the hotel Astoria . Still
straight ahead , then passing by the glass office building East-West
Trade center on Rakoczi ut to Szentkiralyi utca.
The main road is called now Rakoczi ut. It is the prolongation
of Kossuth Lajos utca you walk on the right side of the street Keep on
walking on the busy main road passing by the Volksbank ---odd house
numbers--- by the green post office on the corner of Puskin utca. On
the opposite side is drog store ROSSMANN .Then you ‘ll get to the
corner with SPAR supermarket . This is Szentkiralyi utca .
Our office & most of the apartments is in the third house : VIII.
Szentkiralyi utca 5. Ring the bell first 3- 4 seconds “City Centre
Apartments Office/iroda at the gate from the street side.Please do not
enter the building before you have contacted us. We have about
27 rooms on 4 levels, so if we are not in the office, which is very
likely, because we work in one of the apartments, we have a pager,
which will
be put into operation 1-1,5 min. after you have rung the bell. If there
is no answer in 3-4 min., please call our central phone numbers of City
Centre Apartments, because our assistant could be busy with other
guests
in the other apartments near the metro 2 Astoria station, that means
not
far from Szentkiralyi utca 5.
We have phone service between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. pls. arrange
your journey to arrive in this time.
At arrival after 10 p.m. we have
20 % surcharge to the prices and can accommodate you only if you have
announced your arrival before 10 p.m.

available there from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
There are two bus stations.Some coaches arrive
at the bus station"Stadion".
From the East/Yugoslavia, Romania, Poland etc./ near the hotel and
metro 2 Stadion station. From there please take the metro 2 red
line in direction of DELI pu. If your address is near the metro 2
Astoria station , take the metro 3 stops from Stadion to Astoria.Leave
the exit of the metro to the left, walk by the glass office building on
Rakoczi ut .On the right hand side the first street is Puskin with the
post office
on the corner, the second street will be Szentkiralyi utca. Supermarket
SPAR is on the corner . Turn at the supermarket Spar to the right .
At the door phone from the street please press the button in the right
column at the bottom City Centre Apartments “office/iroda” for
2-3 seconds..
If
our assistant is not in the office , she/he has a pager, too. So she/he
will
answer you in 1-2 min, and open the gate. Pls. do not enter the
building
before you have contacted our assistant. You will not be able to find
her in
the house where we have about 27 rooms in different apartments on 4
different levels. We have phone service between 8 am. and 10 p.m. pls.
